1999 has been a tumultuous and trying year for many people throughout the world. We too have had our ups and downs, but as a family we are growing and learning. Our small little problems and tribulations pale in comparison to those devastated by the war in Kosovo, the earthquakes in Turkey and Taiwan, killer typhoons in India, mudslides and flooding in Central and South America and even the senseless massacre at Columbine High School, which transpired only a few short miles from our house.
2000 undoubtedly will present hardships and challenges. We only hope that our family in some small way can share the blessings and gifts we have received through the gospel of Jesus Christ with those around us. We wish you all peace, joy, happiness and strength to endure. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
